Crestwood School competed in the final of 'Youth's Got Talent' against 3 local high schools, Kingswinford Academy, Beacon Hill Academy and Summerhill School.
Mia from Crestwood gained 1st place with an outstanding performance of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from Les Miserables. Crestwood School took home £1000 first place prize money and Mia took home a lovely £100!!
Crestwood School had the biggest representation of all schools with a massive 35 students in the final.
The amazing ‘Static Brains’ Rock Band started off the event with ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’ by Nirvana-thank you to the incredibly talented Ayesha, Liam, Charlie, Oliver and Elijah.
The School Choir sung 5 songs beautifully and really started the competition off strong, they were the biggest performance of the night!!-there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience! (GREAT harmonies guys!)
There were stunning solos from Jaimee Lee, Tawana and Kacey, including wonderful Dance routines from Diana, Ruby and Ava. Tom, Keira and Matilda were the only actors in the competition, and wow, what exceptional performances!
We are so incredibly proud of you all, you represented the School superbly and your performances were of the highest standard!
