Secondary Teaching

For your school placements, you will be based in two of our schools. You will be based within the subject department that you are specialising in, allowing you to experience high-quality teaching right from the beginning of the course. It is our belief that by investing in the next generation of teachers, we can secure the best outcomes for young people and, therefore, we seek to attract and train the highest calibre trainee teachers. You will be trained in an extremely supportive environment based in high-achieving, aspirational schools. Our Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme provides the experience of training within schools from the start of September, together with high quality core and subject training delivered by expert practitioners, consistent with the requirements for meeting the Teachers’ Standards and gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
